Ruby Balotovsky

Sales Gallery Associate

Ruby is a current student at the University of Minnesota, in her last year of study in both the American Studies and Youth Studies departments. From a young age, Ruby has had a deep appreciation for art, specifically sculpture, both as an admirer and a creator. She has worked with the Chicago Avenue Fire Arts Center in Minneapolis as an intern, and participated in Higher Education Consortium for Urban Affairs’ (HECUA) Art for Social Change program in 2020, which is rooted in the community arts scene in the Twin Cities. Ruby wishes to continue to build her connection to the art/public arts scene in the Twin Cities as she transitions from student to resident in the coming year. Ruby hopes to eventually pursue a career in art therapy with under-resourced youth. In her free time, Ruby can be found spending time with her cats, or exploring the natural wonders of the Twin Cities.
