Kiln & Facilities Technician
Hello! I’m Nat, originally from the middle of nowhere (lovingly) Iowa. I have a passion for ceramics and sculpture which I have followed through my education, residencies, and employment. I received my BFA in ceramics from The University of Iowa, was an artist in residence years ago at NCC, later at New Harmony Clay Project, IN, and recently at Tainan National University of the Arts, Taiwan. I’ve coordinated and instructed clay classes, worked in production pottery, taught art as a paraprofessional and completed a post-baccalaureate at the University of Arkansas. I’ve exhibited around the Midwest and internationally. One thing I love about working at NCC is the proximity I get to stellar artists and robust clay communities.
