Throw your next birthday party or company outing with the help of a teaching artist and a little mud. No prior experience needed. Choose from wheel-throwing (for ages 9 and up who want to get messy) or hand-building (great for all ages 6+).

Your celebration also helps support our Community Outreach programs and keeps clay experiences accessible for schools, families, and community partners throughout Minnesota. Check out stories about recent partnerships here. To add on a donation and support our community programming, please make a note of that in your email inquiry.

Book a party

To schedule a private event, email juliarodman@northernclaycenter.org with the following information:

  • 3 possible dates and times (2 weeks or more ahead of time)
  • Which private party package you would like to book
  • How many people in your party
  • The ages of participants
  • Any accommodations or other information we should know

Parties are preferably scheduled 2-3 weeks in advance. Dates and times are subject to other activities at NCC. Once a date is set, we will send a confirmation email, a PandaDoc invoice (50% deposit is due to confirm the class), and a Google Calendar invite. Please respond to those emails ASAP to confirm you will be attending (please also let us know if you changed your mind and won’t be attending so we can reserve the spot for someone else). We look forward to celebrating with you!
