Hannah Smith

Marketing & Communications Manager

Hannah Smith (she/her) was born and raised in the Twin Cities. She developed an appreciation for the arts early on, watching her dad oil paint, woodwork, and play the drums. Hannah encountered ceramics for the first time during the fall semester of her freshman year of college, and it was immediate love. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Art Education from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and took ceramics every semester in the process. Before landing at NCC, she worked as an elementary art teacher and later as a graphic designer. Outside of work, Hannah enjoys making pots in her home studio, tending to her cut flower garden, traveling, and reading. She lives in Richfield with her husband and a menagerie of creatures: two cats (Ruby and Pickles) and two miniature dachshunds (Pesto and Sinbad).
