Carol Patt

Carol Patt’s rhythmic and expressive ceramic work references human culture with colorful imagery of scenic locations, architecture, and music; while incorporating symbols and patterns past and present. Her artwork seeks to create modern interpretations of the lives of her ancestors, aiming to arouse speculations and curiosity about these cultures within others. Originally studying architecture and art with a background of painting and ceramics, Patt was an art educator for K-12 students across various schools in Minnesota. She has exhibited her artwork in Minnesota and Wisconsin over the last 13 years, and has been taking classes at Northern Clay Center over the last several years to develop her body of ceramic work.
