Peter’s ceramic work includes functional and sculptural pieces that are thrown and hand built. The tactility of pottery has always drawn Peter to ceramic arts. Recently, Peter has returned to Ceramics after a short hiatus as he rethinks a future direction. The results of that rethinking are just beginning to show up in his work, involving a return to hand building, with less functional and more sculptural emphasis. It involves a love of ideas and words, and a continuing desire to make with clay.
