Olivia Ahrens is a potter based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She grew up in St. Paul and attended Northern Clay Center’s Summer Clay Camps and Teen Wheel as a kid. Olivia moved to Iowa to attend the University of Iowa and pursue a BFA in ceramics. She returned home during her summers to work as an NCC Clay Camp teacher. She is currently working as the Outreach Technician and instructing classes in her free time. Olivia has fallen in love with the medium of clay, the process of ceramics, and the community of Northern Clay Center. Her main passion is engaging new people in the magic of wheel throwing. Olivia is also an avid canoer, woodworker, and cook— her ideal weekend is camping in the Boundary Waters with her girlfriend.
