Heather Tietz’s work investigates how objects hold memory and how our connections to our past experiences evolve over time. Tietz has recent experience teaching “Exploring Pottery” at Hopkins Community Center. Her work is on view in the Minnesota Women Ceramic Artists exhibition at the MSP airport, and her work is circulating in the collection of the Minneapolis Art Lending Library. Tietz is figuring out how to incorporate ceramics into the landscape as she studies in the Master of Landscape Architecture program at the University of Oregon.
