Jamie Brogdon was born and raised in the heart of Texas. She fell in love with the creative process during her adolescence, and in 2009, she began working primarily in clay. She uses porcelain to create delicate hand modeled pieces inspired by the repetition and pattern found in nature. Her surfaces are densely textured, and sculptural forms grow in an intuitive way. After graduating from the MN NICE program in 2016, Brogdon returned to Texas where she completed a large installation piece commissioned by Art Force for the University of Minnesota and has started her own photography business.
