Maddie Schwimmer (they/them) is a self-taught artist from New Jersey who moved to Minneapolis in 2021. A lifelong swimmer, Maddie began coaching young athletes after graduating from Bryn Mawr College. While helping age-group swimmers refine their strokes, they were also illustrating their first children’s book—fittingly, an ABC book about swimming!
Maddie enjoys exploring a variety of artistic mediums and loves experimenting with ways to combine them to bring their creative visions to life. Currently, they’re diving into printmaking and fabric arts with their partner as part of their new business, Paired Prints. You can check out their work on Etsy.
When they’re not creating, Maddie enjoys spending time with their two cats, Honey Mustard and Dill Pickle, and working on home design projects.
