Eat, Drink and… : Minnesota Women Ceramic Artists Exhibition

MARCH 13 – APRIL 26, 2015
Emily Galusha Gallery

Special occasions and significant life events are frequently celebrated with food, drink, and companionship. People want and need the opportunity to slow down and take time to enjoy good food, good company, and to celebrate important moments in their lives. Of course, ceramic wares are central to presenting the food in an elegant, fun, or simple way. Twenty ceramic artists from the Minnesota Women Ceramic Artists organization have chosen a special occasion to design a table setting around, complementing food and celebrating life. This exhibition was juried by Pattie Chalmers, assistant professor of ceramics at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, Illinois.
