APRIL 3 – MAY 6, 2018
Sales Gallery
Join us for the 20th iteration of NCC’s American Pottery Festival, September 7 – 9, 2018. Our annual fundraiser will once again gather national artists representing the best in their fields, and offer a diverse array of ideations, processes, and forms & surfaces. The event kicks off with our Opening Night Party on Friday, September 7, 2018.
The American Pottery Festival is a three-day event that serves as our largest fundraising event each year. This mindfully forged platform brings together makers, clay lovers, learners, collectors, and simply the curious, to play and to be inspired.
Each year, the event includes artists from large and small markets around the country, artists from all career stages and ages, and some local gems. The richness of experience, knowledge, and generosity represented by 2018’s artists will provide learning opportunities for everyone—from student to collector to fellow maker. The weekend is always filled with chances to engage directly with artists during image presentations, workshops, lectures, panel discussions, and casual gallery chats.
The APF Preview Show in April is your first chance to see a sampling of work from each 2018 artist, on view in the Sales Gallery from April 3 – May 6. We are fortunate to also represent most of this year’s artist roster during the NCECA conference in Pittsburgh, March 14 – 16. NCC invites you to visit us at our NCECA Gallery Expo space to be the very first to see their collective work in person at a special Members Preview opening reception on the evening of March 13.
