Kate Smith is a ceramic artist who maintains a studio at Northern Clay Center (NCC) in Minneapolis. Kate has worked with clay since 1972, studying at the University of Minnesota and graduating from the MN NICE Program in 2015. Kate currently works as a teaching assistant for a soda firing methods course at NCC and sells her work at numerous juried art fairs in Minnesota. Her work has been exhibited at the Three Haven’s Art Gallery and Northern Clay Center, and she has an upcoming show at the Hopkins Center for the Arts.
