Marketing and Technology Manager

Amanda moved to Minneapolis in 2014 after an 8-year stint in Glasgow, UK, where she obtained a Masters in Research in Creative Practice from the Glasgow School of Art. While in Scotland, Amanda was Intern Programme Manager for the Scottish Institute for Enterprise, an organization that helped university students start businesses, and founded and ran a studio and gallery facility that housed over 30 artists. Since returning to the Midwest, Amanda rediscovered an earlier love of ceramics and spends nearly all of her waking life thinking about clay. She was a 2015 Anonymous Potter Studio Fellow and currently works as Northern Clay Center’s Marketing and Technology Manager. In addition to NCC’s Sales Gallery, you can see her work in galleries across the country including Lillstreet in Chicago, The Clay Studio in Philadelphia, and LUX in Lincoln. Amanda can’t wait for gardening season and will definitely not overplant tomatoes AGAIN this year.
