Facilities Manager
Keanue Driscoll-Cherland is a Minnesota born artist, musician, tinkerer and community farmer. He is most proud of the work he has contributed to that supports community neighborhoods in providing equitable opportunities to accessing food, fun, and the arts. As someone who enjoys all sorts of ways to interact with materials, technology, and the world around us, his artistic exploration aims to activate spaces often through sculpture, digital media or otherwise to deepen the way we engage with our community and the environments we live in.
Keanue is a Senior Level student of Studio Art Bachelor’s Program at Metropolitan State. He has spent upwards of 6 years farming thousands of pounds of produce annually to be distributed at no cost to community residents, offering opportunities to neighbors and immigrant farmers to learn organic farming practices first hand. He has served on the board of the Frogtown Neighborhood Association since 2023, and has been actively engaged in that community since 2020 where he lives.
Between all of his responsibilities, he really loves to make art, music, whatever – just as long as his hands are involved. He would love to teach, and eventually live on a small farm…
